So here's my rec list, la la la. Put in alphabetical order because I didn't know any other order to put it in that wouldn't be hard =/. I tried to indicate which fics are long or not, and realised it's not a very good indication at all. Basically I see multi-chaptered as a fic set out with lots of chapters, long fics are fics that are 10k+, one-shot as about 3 to 10k, and short as about 1 or 2 thousand words.

Now that I've finished Power Play (Harry/Draco) by dahlia_777, I might not bother reading the sequel The Ebony Box because I read it only a few weeks ago (yeah I skipped the two prequels - I have read this trilogy so many times I remembered the important bits.) I mean I really should read new fanfics, but... u kno... dun wanna.

I had a sudden thought that I wanted to read Cartographer's Craft (Harry/Sirius) by sam_storyteller. Yes, then maybe read The Ebony Box next week or something. I need to take a break from H/D. Anyway I'm writing a AS/S fic, which is lots of fun. Just a quick note: my other favourite Harry/Sirius fic is Please Understand by Telanu. It's a one-shot that's very old and I unfortunately can't find it online anymore. Why are all the old, really good fics from my early years as a slasher taken down?! Why?! Oh wait, I found it, lol!

Yeah, maybe I should just write a proper rec list instead of bombarding my LJ mate's friends list with these stupid posts at 1 am in the morning!! nargles!

EDIT: WHOA I've just been reading that sam_storyteller re-wrote his novella to fit the new canon! Jesus, who does that? Actually, I had considered doing that with Pandora's Box and making it an eighth-year fic, but really, there's just so much that would need to be changed! Hmmmm...

Re-reading dahlia_777's The Silver Chain and sequels. Fucking CACKED myself laughing on this line from Power Play:

"You really stuffed up at the ball, didn't you Harry," continued Seamus. "There's Ron, managing to get a snog with Pansy, and then pulling Hermione on top of that. And then there's you, losing Lavender to a Slytherin, and Hermione to your best mate. The only guy who had a worse night than you was that stupid prick Malfoy. At least your girlfriend didn't snog one of your worst enemies, and then cop off with another girl and come out as a raving lesbo!"

And I LOVE Lavender in this fic. I thought she was pretty hilarious in the new HBP movie but in Dahlia's fics she's just the bomb.

If anyone cares to know, in the last two years I moved to Perth, worked for a while and went to uni to study Cyber Forensics. I’m on hols now. So anyway, how I do a cut again? *sheepish* Oh… it’s called a ‘split post’ on this program.
