Id gotten back in Merlin (BBC) recently which is such a weird feeling, cos i left the fandom when? 2010? TEN years ago?? And All The Fic that had been written in the interim... oh my frogging god... so good!! Id been spending money on NOVELS when i couldve been reading merthur fic... for FREE.

(I don't regret supporting writers though, really, and my fave original fiction authors are def worth it.)

Since merlin fandom ive been in 2 or 3 fandoms lol. Tvxq, dissidia nt and now final fantasy viir probably. Dissidia/ff7/merlin are fandoms I've been in before... i guess i always return back to them, though i never did return to Harry Potter and honestly i never see myself returning to kpop after two (plus several others) of my faves committed suicide, while controversy regarding the rape and physical abuse of stars is reoccurring. The kpop industry can die in a fire.

Anyway what was i saying? Oh yeah im doing a merlin rewatch!! This tv show was so good!! Is there anything of its kind since? It really was one of its kind since Xena. Although, The Witcher is very good, but sadly only one season.

In terms of RL (if anyone is reading this and is interested lol) career is... whatever, im in services, therefore doesn't pay well. BUT! I have a son and i bought a house, so :) whelp, that's my lj entry after like... idek how long.

I haven't had home Internet for like a month, and I got some today, and OMG I was dying of thirst... *pants* no Internet... for a month... was torture...

Also, I fractured my foot. Lulzz. But that was six weeks ago so it's still achy but healing well =3

But this post is to say - Happy Anniversary dentedsky! You turned 10 on 28 October2013! Ten years later and you're still being posted to! Yay! *nervous laughter*

Yesterday one of my fandom friends Hikari-chan died of cancer. Although I only knew her through LJ comments, forum discussions, PMs and Tumblr, I feel like I have lost a truly beautiful person in my life. She was always positive, never participated in wank or said a bad word against anyone, and was well loved by everyone. Not only did she write fics, but she also gave very detailed accounts of the times when she went to Tohoshinki's concerts, and translated articles from official sources such as Bigeast. In 2011, she translated many of Tohoshinki's official videos during the Tone tour, for subbing.

I will miss her so, so much. She was so young, in her early twenties. She studied hard, worked full time, loved her family and her boyfriend. She had dreams and plans for the future. She kept such a brave face and didn't let it known that she was ill. She didn't demand attention or sympathy.

Goodbye my friend, I love you. You are with your ancestors now, please rest peacefully.

Now I need a new tv show lol but for god's sake don't say Teen Wolf. My newest obsessions in the new year will most likely be Game of Thrones as well as Queen of Ambition, at any rate. Now to go cheer myself up with some robots or whatever. (Speaking of - I got Asimov's book of robot short stories for Christmas =D )

Aaaaanyway overall it was one of the best days of my life. I highly recommend going to a kpop concert, and tbh standing was great. Yes you have to wait in the line hours to get the best view but if you have the energy and patience, do it. It's such a great feeling and the view is way better than seating. Plus you get to talk about kpop with other fans all day lol. Next I would love to go to a TVXQ concert w/ Cassies, cos all the ppl I was w/ stanned different groups, so I reckon Cassie concert would be a dif. exp.

This is reeeally long so if it's too tl:dr then skip sections - I've tried to label them so you can scroll over stuff (sorry it's so long but it's my blog and I want to preserve the memories =') ..) I've talked about ppl but I've either used their Internet aliases or made up names for them. Part 2 is pic and fancam heavy and taking me a while so I will post it later =)

I know people tend to do big flist clean-ups and cuts and things but I'm not... really like that, not so far, anyway. However, I do defriend people on occasion, not very often, and it's usually for very specific and/or individual reasons. I'm not the kind of person who believes we can only be friends just because we're in the same fandom, as if Merlin or whatever is the only thing we can and should be talking about. I truly believe friendships, whether internet or other, are based on more than that. I change fandoms frequently and then I usually go back to them and then lose interest and then get interested again randomly, so it's not like if I move on forever and ever. I want to be able to talk to people about things other than hot men looking at each other as well, and that's why I like to follow your RL blogs.

In this round-about way I'm really just trying to say, if I ever defriend and you want to talk about that, please let's.
